Remembering Great Uncle Kenny

We lost my Great Uncle Ken unexpectedly last week. I did not know my great uncle very long, and I will all miss him a lot of reasons, but 2 reasons specifically:

1) I am bummed I am going to now need to find another person to teach me all about mustangs.

2) My great uncle Ken had a deep and genuine love of our lord Jesus Christ. He wanted to share his message with everyone he met, especially with children. It saddens me to think I will miss out on his unique presence and knowledge.

Remembering Great Grandma Keller

Sad news today as I found out my Great Grandma Keller past away last night (My daddy's side)
I am glad I got the brief chance to know and love her before she went to see Jesus in Heaven.

I will miss her much.

Here is a photo of my daddy holding me when he was sick. (Thanks Daddy for protecting me) As you can see, I needed a little help too as I was starting to get congested. There was no medicine in there, just saline water.

My new talent

My Grandma Gwen bought me this really fun Animal Train for Christmas. Today, what do you know, a light bulb went off in my head. I have learned how to make the train play music with out any help from mommy or daddy. YIPPEE!!!

Winter Fun!!!

Yeah! Daddy finally learned how to upload pictures. Here I am all bundled up to go sledding with my cousins. Can anyone tell me who thought of playing outside in freezing temperatures?

What's Up with the Name

I know, I know...My daddy is crazy...well at least mommy looks at him funny. I just giggle and laugh at him because he is so weird. You are all wondering how I came up with the name for my blog so just sit back and relax and I will enlighten you.


My parents named me Zachariah and they call me Zach. But all of my cousins have started to call me Zachy and it delights me so much I just giggle.


Zocalo by definition in Mexico is a public square or plaza. Daddy's favorite all time TV show is Babylon 5, which had a Zocalo (there goes another funny look from mommy....ha!) where everybody on the station came together to shop, eat and converse. Daddy finally convinced mommy that this blog of mine can be a wonderful place for you to come and check in from time to time on my progress.
